Dr. Tieraona Low Dog
Dr. Tieraona (Tier-oh-nay) Low Dog, MD is an internationally recognized physician, educator, author, and expert. Dr. Low Dog is a founding member of the American Board of Integrative Medicine, was appointed by President Bill Clinton to the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy, and served as the Chair of the Dietary Supplements and Botanicals Admission Evaluation Sub-Committee from 2010–2020. Dr. Low Dog has spoken at over 600 medical conferences, has written 54 peer-reviewed articles, 24 medical textbook chapters, and authored five books of her own, including four with Natural Geographic: Fortify Your Life, Healthy at Home, Life is Your Best Medicine, and Guide to Medicinal Herbs.

Lisa Ganora
Lisa Ganora founded the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and manages Elderberry’s Farm (a Rocky Mountain Herbal Education Center in CO). Lisa has served as Adjunct Professor of Pharmacognosy at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and has lectured and taught classes at numerous schools and conferences around the world. She is the author of Herbal Constituents, 2nd Edition, used by schools and universities worldwide.

Mimi Hernandez
Mimi Prunella Hernandez, RH (AHG) has dedicated her life’s work to serving as an advocate for traditional and clinical herbal pathways. As an herbalist, she draws upon the influence of her Abuelitas and her background in biochemistry to weave together an herbal practice that’s rooted in folk traditions and modern science. She is the author of the National Geographic Herbal and the recipient of the 2023 American Botanical Council Herbal Community Builder Award. Mimi resides in the foothills of North Carolina where she stewards the PonderLand Plant Sanctuary which is a member of United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary Network. She has been the Executive Director of the American Herbalists Guild since 2012.
